Great news for residents, neighbors, and visitors to Park Center Treptow!

Berlin, May 27, 2024 – Great news for everyone who shops at Park Center Treptow: Edeka is moving in! The new store will span 5,000 m² and bring a breath of fresh air to the shopping center. 

Edeka: Variety and Freshness Across 5,000 m²

Look forward to a huge selection of fresh groceries, regional products, and international specialties. Edeka stands for high quality and a wide variety that makes shopping a pleasure. The opening is currently planned for late 2025, following the completion of renovations.

No demolition and no new construction!

The Park Center Treptow is being redeveloped as an urban hub for local shopping, dining, specialty stores, leisure, medical and educational services, offices, housing, and culture in the neighborhood. Concerns among some residents that these functions can only be fulfilled through new construction are unfounded.

Something new is emerging: Modernization

As part of the modernization measures, both the exterior façade and the interior will be redesigned. The goal is an inviting and modern design with plenty of greenery and additional seating areas.

The Park Center’s redevelopment will thus take place within the existing structure and include both current and new tenants, creating a vibrant atmosphere that extends beyond the neighborhood.

Local amenities are growing too:

Existing tenants plan to expand their spaces and offerings on-site, thereby expressing confidence and anticipation for the upcoming positive changes at the location.

More medical practices at Park Center Treptow

We plan to establish additional medical practices on the first floor. Initial discussions are already underway successfully, so that Park Center Treptow will soon be able to offer even more comprehensive medical care.

Space for culture and more

In addition to the shops, we also want to promote the concept of the common good. For example, we plan to include spaces for a theater, a bike repair shop, a Repair Café, and a neighborhood store. Park Center Treptow is set to become a vibrant meeting place for everyone.

Atrium: The new venue for events

Our Atrium will be the heart of the center for events and activities—from clothing swap parties and dance classes to art exhibitions. We look forward to using this space together with you and strengthening the neighborhood.
